Why would i switch the SIM's? There are no SIM's to swap. I took the
SIM card out of the 551 and inserted it in the V3. She bought me only
a phone, not a new plan.

It nonetheless sounds like your RAZR V3 is "homed" on a different network than
the V551. The only way to be sure would be to switch the SIM to a V551.
