That was pretty much the message of the last election, we must not reelect
anybody over the next few election so they know the voters are serious about
not wanting goofy laws, like the healthcare law enacted, that are going to
destroy the county.

I'm fed up with all politicians, pundits, and think tanks considering
Social Security and Medicare entitlement programs and therefore ripe
for the chopping block. Social Security and Medicare are not
entitlement programs, but insurance policies sold to us by the U.S.
government and for which we have paid for throughout our working
lives.
The only thing we all should do is force the government to get rid of
the SSI and other adde-on parts that pay money to anyone who has not
paid into the Social Security fund. Do you know that a divorced
spouse can collect on the wife's/husband's Social Security?
Let's fix this, not get rid of it.
THAT I will agree too.
The politicians over time have raped the SS program and used it to
gather votes. I too am sick and tired of this BS. I like jingles idea
of putting congress on part time and instituting term limits. We need
badly to get rid of the career politicans. I say when we vote these
folks in they should stay in barracks, specially designed for them.
Make them live like monks on a remote hilltop living under "vows of
poverty, chastity and OBEDIENCE"!! Only when they are working shall
they be exposed to the public. While not working they shall behave
themselves and live for total commitment to serving the electorate.
After their term of SERVICE ends they shall NOT be permitted to pad
their pocket as a result of their service such as consultants and
lobbying.
