I look at this from a different angle. Remember the pricing horrors we
discussed earlier? I believe that if something is easily prevented,
but it is NOT prevented, then it's intentional. When health care
pricing horrors are "exposed" by sensational TV stories, health care
providers and insurers never make it 100% clear whether we're dealing
with simple errors, or bloated numbers purposely injected into the
pricing system in the hope that they'll slide by unnoticed.

My solution: Prison time.

My solution: Subscribe to Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. And read
EVERY issue of those in addition to every issue of whatever you're reading
now.

Forget TV or radio; those are empty of anything useful.

None of my points are secret or difficult to understand, but you do need to
READ every issue and article to pick up ALL the details, which tend to
float by in little bits here and there. I think that's the problem: there
are so many details, and so many facts, that you need to study this issue
for a long time to pick them all up. If you don't pick them all up, you'll
come to poor conclusions.
