I get paid when I teach a class. If you don't know how to do a proper
search then you need to attend a school that teaches the subject.
My reference was to majority of VEHICLES, not just certain cars. The tax
referenced is US CORPORATE taxes not state or local taxes paid by holding
companies, dummy.
If one expects to get access to some information one needs to subscribe to
sources that proved that information
You are free to believe what ever you choose, When I enlisted in the US Navy
in 1944 we were at war with the Japs

What do you mean by a "lot?"
In the case of Toyota, slightly more than 1/2. What website? URL,
please. I have looked for the website and have been unable to find it.
I don't think it exists. I think you are making it up. Toyota makes in
the US slightly more than 1/2 of its cars it sells in the US. That is
hardly "the vast majority."
http://www.toyota.com/about/our_business/toyota_in_america/our_numbers/
The profit the subsidies make in the US is taxed like any other US
companies, because they are US companies that happen to be owned by a
foreign company. So they are taxed just like US companies because they
are US companies.
When you get a clue or at least a website that is not a figment of
your imagination do let us know.
In the meantime, you would be better off keeping your keyboard unused.
As they say, better to let us think you are a fool than remove all
doubt.
Search the US D.O.C. site and you will
discover the majority of the vehicles sold in the US by the Japs are
imported. On the other hand the majority of those sold by the domestic are
not imported.

I also find that your use of the term "Japs" racist.

I guess because those import brand had more cars available. Toyota,

not,
you will not be able to buy a Focus for at least two month, Ford
dealers
sold every one they had. In addition American consumers do not know,
and
if
they do, they do not care that their government is sending their tax
money
out of the county tax free and that they don't mind sending their
children's
and grand children's jobs offshore, as well. After all those that buy
imported cars do not seem to mind paying 20% to 30% more to buy import
brands, than domestic, of the same size and with the same equipment
because
they think they are "better." When I was still in retail we were happy
to
take more of their money because of what they believed.
Thanks for your opinions on THAT matter, but the fact remains that you
were trying to make it sound the government is doing something
nefarious and "un-American"...
"The Focus was the number ONE car chosen by those taking the "CARS"
money,
but most of the money 60% went to Toyota, Honda and Hyundai. In other
words the government sent your tax money out of the country"
...why did you do that?
A lot of Toyotas, Hondas and other foreign brand cars are made in the
US. And a lot of Fords, GMs and Chryslers are made outside of North
America.
