The only reasons why Obama has a budget deficit is that Bush continued
to increase the budget, but not the revenues to keep up and Bush
didn't do enough to regulate the banking industry.

Not really. The airport security that we see is a joke. It is nearly
useless, other than makes us feel good. And, we are in Iraq making
Muslims all over the world hate us. Some security.

I disagree. We are safer with him making peace and working with
different countries, rather than the US doing what it wants, even if
the vast majority of the world is against us.

One area where we are clearly safer with Obama in office is on the
environment. The planet is close to its carrying capacity for humans.
Humans has greatly disrupted life in the oceans, decreasing the
numbers of fish in many different species, destroyed forests and
increased the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. We have abused the
environment in an unsustainable manner. Finally, we have a man in the
White House who is able to understand that using science to gather
information, rather than just one interpretation of the Bible, is the
way to go.
