Yeah, could... ;-)

It was reported a few years ago that one woman, not following the directions
for topical estrogen cream, was using it as a lubricant. Her husband was
therefore getting OTT doses, & began expanding in the chest - gynecomastia.
Was reversible, thank goodness. OTOH, the extra dosage - systemically re:
hormones, couldn't have been exactly healthy for either one of them. (Some
cancers are estrogen-receptive, for ex.)
