Your uninformed or misinformed opinion does not deserve a reply except to
point GM, nor any other manufacturer, sells the same vehicles the sold
thirty or forty years ago. Would you buy any of the Jap cars today, if it
were the same car they sold in the seventies? LOL

What gives you the right to tell me what I can drive? You don't
know that everyone who owns a Suburban "under" uses it. And the
term "over-sized" is a personal preference. Something you may
consider "too big" may be just right for someone else. I'm all for
better MPG in vehicles, but we don't all have to drive shoe boxes.
If you like to drive around in a tin can, that is your right, and I
would never try to take that right away from you. Have some
respect, and let me and others drive what we want too.
tariffs, tax breaks, and taxpayer loans because of people like you
wanting products which everyone else must subsidize, then there is no
problem.
Having read your posts from this group, I have come to the conclusion
that you have no idea what you are talking about. You have also made
it clear you don't like GM, there products or the people who purchase
them (how refreshingly new), so why are you here in a newsgroup
devoted to GM?
can tell all about that individual.
Just to show what a bozo you and Mikey are I have never owned a foreign
car. I have owned GM products and have experienced the blown head gaskets
at no extra charge and etc..
I currently drive a Ford Taurus and own a Ranger pickup, both are good
reliable vehicles. That doesn't change the facts and my opinion one bit
about how Unions which once were the working mans friend have become an
entitlement to outrageous bonuses and salaries and work rules which are
bordering on outrageous.
The same applies to executives who spent time fighting every safety
advancement and effort to clean up automobile emissions from the git go.
I hear such outrageous comments about how great and skilled union workers
are. I bought a Chevy Malibu for my sister back in the seventies and the
damn frame was bad and they tried to hum haw their way out of it and I
had to threaten to get a lawyer to get satisfaction.
GM has been headed for this for decades.
I remember when reliable reports of drug use and near damn anarchy
existed in Lordstown plant back in the sixties or early seventies. I
looked at New Chevrolets in the seventies with twice the gap in the door
and the pillar from one side to the other. Definitely the work of skilled
people. Then there is this crap of allowing workers to stay at home for
months and draw a full salary which is finally ending.
Yes I have some issues with the big three but I always supported their
asses anyway.
