Your encoding got stripped from the first post that I saw, but was restored
in Jeff's post and HIS Reply was also encoded in Japanese.

I don't really care where the Japanese characters come from, I'd like to not
see them. My reader strips the Rich Text and Replies in Plain Text, but I
still get the offending presentation.

I use Google groups, because my ISP doesn't care alt groups anymore. I
use my ISP for other groups that they do carry. Unless I am out of the
area, where I use google groups for everything.
