"Darren" ...
Greetings everyone,
I have some general questions about knowing when to buy a new car. I
bought a 2000 Toyota Echo in December of 1999.
Bought mine October 1999
Am I better off getting a new car every two to three years?
I'm no expert, but I think that's a big waste of money.
So do I.
By the way, the Echo was my first car that I bought on my own since my
college days way back. I always lived in big cities, and never had to
have a car until I moved out to the 'burbs.
Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
Darren
It sounds like you're doing maintenance the way you should, but you have
to keep in mind your climate. Even in a garage, the car will deteriorate
from the elements.
From what I've read - various sources, it's actually worse to keep a car ina garage in cold/wet climates - the moisture can't evaporate as easily as it
would if outdoors.
