That's truly the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen you say, Charles.
We cannot possibly have as much power as you think, or we would have
elected a woman president long before we even heard of Hillary.

I try to be open-minded to the opinions of others, but that was just too
preposterous, and unbelievably misogynist.

After the last 'girlfriend', I've become a permanent misogynist. I will
never date again. I refuse to drink from that poisoned well anymore.
Every time I try to draw from the well, I get some liberal woman that has
the attitude "I love you, you're perfect, now change." Sorry, if there
aren't any nice girls in my age bracket, I'm going to consider all single
women in my age bracket at least closet liberals, and therefore the enemy.
The problem is all the nice women I know are already happily married. All
the women I know that are close to my age seem to want one of two things: A
good lay, or a fat wallet, neither one of which should be taken for granted
at age 50. None of the women I've dated in the past decade have wanted me
for just me.

You're probably what mental health professionals refer to as a
"loser," which would explain the generally bitter tone of your
political newsgroup posts. Consider following the advice given in
this book, and don't put it off:
