"JoeSpareBedroom" ...
"Wickeddoll" ...Damn, Joe - I thought you were younger than me...guess not!
Thanks, but I'm takenStolen from the www.albertawatson.net board:
Dear Walter:
You're so wrong on this issue, Natalie, just as you are with
most everything else you post. :-)
*fwap*
We handle things just fine, as you can see here.

Not helping, dude...
Natalie
Oh Natalie, how I love you....
:)
:-)
Natalie
That's "tooken".
Oh lord.
What's worse, is that some people think that's correct...
Natalie
It's from a song. Can't change lyrics or the earth will spin out of
its orbit.
Hey, hey, good lookin',
Whatcha got cookin'?
How's about cookin' somethin' up with me?
Hey, sweet baby,
Don't you think maybe
We could find us a brand new recipe?
I got a hot-rod Ford and a two-dollar bill
And I know a spot right over the hill.
There's soda pop and the dancin's free,
So if you wanna have fun come along with me.
Hey, good lookin',
Whatcha got cookin'?
How's about cookin' somethin' up with me?
I'm free and ready,
So we can go steady.
How's about savin' all your time for me?
No more lookin',
I know I've been tooken
How's about keepin' steady company?
I'm gonna throw my date-book over the fence
And find me one for five or ten cents.
I'll keep it 'til it's covered with age
'Cause I'm writin' your name down on every page.
Hey, good lookin',
Whatcha got cookin'?
How's about cookin' somethin' up with me?
:-)

That song never gets old. Last week, I heard a band play it in a way
that Ozzie would've been happy with. Ripped the hell out of it, big
metal guitars & all.
Off on a tangent... Different music, but this made me think of: the "The
Mississippi Delta was shining like a National guitar" line in the song
"Graceland". Until a couple of years ago I never realized the basis for
that line - the existence of National guitars. (For others who have no
clue what I'm talking about - they're shiny metal.

That song is a masterpiece. The bass line has driven bass players insane
for years, but all of a sudden, it just clicks. Then, we can't convince
our bands to play the song. They say stuff like "Nobody could ever play
that song."
I've heard it in concert several times, & done well. OTOH, it was the
author & his band <g> - which is really great. :-) He started leaving out
the "ghosts & empties" line - re-thought it & decided it was too wordy; but
I like it in there. Last time I heard it, it was back in.
Pansies.
;-) You know "Anji"? - hey, even PS had messed that one up. More than
once. Live. There's a YouTube video of both brothers playing it, way back
in the 60's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBONNx8cvZ4
