discussed much, though.

Actually, the NH is tilted toward the sun in the summer, but the earth is
at
aphelion. The sun's rays are hitting at a more direct angle. In winter,
the NH is tilted away from the sun, but is at perihelion.

The opposite is true for the SH, which is why summer is more brutal in,
say,
Australia. Their summer has the earth's tile toward the sun and at
perihelion
at the same time. Big difference.


No. It's definitely the vents. Probably full of lint and cat hair.
