They don't belong to the country's government. That means they're not
the representative of that government, no matter how you slice it.

You can't think straight here because your legalistic mindset says
that anybody who fights in organized units and uses RPGs, mines, and
rifles and shoots down helicoptors and kills American GIs isn't a
soldier unless he or she gets paid by a government and wears a
uniform. American GIs who've fought such irregulars know that they
are soldiers, whether they're terrorists, private militia, or ex-
Republican Guard.

That's strangely funny. At my dinner table, just last night, sat a
two-tour Marine who says otherwise. He's going back
again in January. I'll take his word over yours any day.

Marines are the bravest and most honorable people there are, but my
father said that they also think anybody who doesn't fight war head-on
is a coward and not a real warrior because hit & run, IEDs, and
guerilla tactics aren't really honorable ways of fighting.

They're terrorists.

Some are, but far more are ex-Iraqi soldiers who are merely trying to
defend their country against foreign invaders and the traitors allied
with them.

Without the sanction of their country, they're terrorists.

But they do have the sanction of their country -- the Iraqi president
gave it to them before he died. Do you understand?

Perceived motive doesn't equal validation.

And those irregulars are perceived as being terrorists by many
Americans, but that perception is invalid.

And for a moniker, you've chosen well.

We appreciate it, and I'm sure you're not the kind of person who
resorts to insults when you can no longer defend your position with
facts and logic.

Game, set, match. I've done that above, unless you want to beat a dead
horse with your featherduster.

But you didn't end with facts and logics but rather with a "You're
Stupid!", something that doesn't exactly make your case credible.
