The other part of this is that Democrats have been pissed since losing a
close election in 2000. One which they feel was stolen from them

Gore won the popular vote and we were treated to 4 years of Bush claiming he
had some kind of mandate. Sure, there are hard feelings but there's a good
reason for them.

Yes. He's the answer to Warren G. Harding's prayers. Harding failed to
rise to meet the challenges that faced him. Dubya created new challenges to
which he failed to rise to meet.

My favorite blunder: Dubya might have saved control of Congress for his
party if he had fired Rumsfeld before the elections but he couldn't even get
that right, firing him after the elections. He gets all the egg on his face
of having had to own up to making a bad choice in Secretary of Defense
without gaining any possible political advantage from it.

Tell me, what kind of rating would you have given him during the Korean
war? The great depression? Vietnam? Bay of Pigs?


If Dubya had been elected President in 1940, from the Rockies eastward the
official language would be German and from the Rockies westward, the
official language would be Japanese.

You have become a drone like so many others and dont even see it. Compared
to the history of most Presidents this President is hardly the worst. Yet
someone has convinced you that 3 thousand lives is worse than 50 thousand
lives, that a 10 percent interest rate is worst than a 25% interest rate.
That waterboarding a obvious terrorist is worse than shooting a vietcong
soldier in the head on national television.
