Re: LED Flashlights

I own several LED flashlights, and I like the light output of a regular flashlight better.

Maybe the LED lights I have are crappy, one is a wind-up type where there are no batteries, one takes 3, 6 or 9 AA batteries, and the number of batteries extends the life not the output. I have another that I don't recall the power source, but my issue is that the light quality is not in a spectrum that is pleasant to my eyes. I find that I do not see stuff as well as I do with a regular flashlight. I admit that it might just be me, and there is a "learning curve" that I haven't gotten over yet.

Does anyone know of any good ones? The old mag light is on it's final legs and it's time to get a new flashlight and I like the idea of having the power and brightness of a spotlight in the palm of my hand.
