01 Corolla head lights

Day time running lights work, high beams work, but low beams don't
work. When both low beam bulbs are taken out of sockets, and sockets
are tested with test light, both prongs on both sockets light up the
test light. When one bulb is taken out, only one plug lights up. No low
beam head lights work, only on day time running lights.

... According to the service manual wiring diagram, when the low beams are in DRL mode, the 2 outside bulbs get voltage through 2 nose to tail diodes. ... I'd check it tonight, but the daylight sensor - which automatically turns on my lights at dusk - doesn't respond to artificial light, and I don't have any near-infrared sources. ... I disabled the chime that reminds me that the key is in the ignition switch. ...
