Re: Hillary admits her goal in life

Since OE cuts out the OT: from subject lines you really ought to
make sure you are putting it back in manually. Thanks.

Huh? OE doesn't cut the "OT" out of subject lines. At least not
IME.

Cathy

If you are the first replier to a subject beginning with OT: it will
strip the OT: It is a well known bug that has to do with the colon
and how OE inserts the Re:

Believe me, it is true. It's just like all the other things I tell
you people that aren't informed of the facts. In your case I am
fairly certain you will take the effort to investigate what I say.

Oh, wait a minute - this is ringing a very faint bell from an OT
discussion a long time ago, on another ng. Doesn't it stay intact if
one types "OT -", a dash instead of the colon?

Cathy

Yes. It is the : that causes the problem. Remember that for the
future.

Yes, sir. ;-P

Don't worry about it; download PAN and be happy!

www.pan.rebelbase.com

Get the "This is not a psychotic episode. It's a cleansing moment of
clarity." version, and the Gtk Runtime environment.

Clear, logical way of arranging articles, and embedded yENC decoding built
in, unlike Microsoft "we didn't invent it so we won't include it"

Most people on the binaries groups I subscribe to have been trained by the
rest of the members to refrain from posting in yenc. If they insist on
ignoring the gentle (or not so gentle) hints from the group's memebers, I
just filter that poster. ;-) I can combine & decode, but it's too much
effort...

Also marks articles and threads as read WHEN they are read, instead of
leaving them looking unread for months...

?? As soon as I've opened & read a post or thread, it's automatically
marked as read. Otherwise, I just mark the entire session's posts as read,
in one fell swoop, before switichng to another ng, or out of Usenet
altogether.
