I can find anything I want, with or without a computer!

Do a search on Hashimoto's diseaes or thyroid and see what comes up for
reliable sources.

Ten years ago there were TONS of them.

Then, look on the right hand side of Google...

Hachiroku, I get 323,000 hits for Hashimoto's disease, some of which look
tolerably authoritative, and 24 million hits for thyroid, which I didn't
really analyze. No e-bay ad.

I'm not sure what it is you're seeing on the 'net that I'm not. One thing I
would expect that's more available than 10 years ago would be things like
web "forums" or blogs or other things for people affected by Hashimoto's and
with thyroid condtions. Is that not so?

Can you describe better what you were seeing 10 years ago that I don't find
now? Mind you, I'm not suggesting the Internet is BETTER now, but there
sure as heck is MORE of it!

Back then I was seeing a lot of information from Medical research
facilities and .edus and few commercial sites.

In all honesty, the last time I did a query on it was using HotBot (that
should tell you it was a few years ago) and the number of factual sites
had declined dramatically, while the garbage had increased from near
non-existant.

I don't put a lot of faith in blogs. I put more into Newsgroups... ;)





IOW, a change from a very High Signal-to-Noise ratio, to a very LOW
Signal-to-Noise ratio.
