Who is the question in reference to, you? There are over a hundred battalions, depending on the reference and whether you are looking at army, police, etc. Take a quick look at the web. As soon as you learn to check your facts, let us know.

The General's comment is in reference to how many the military are self sufficient to fight independently without our well organized force, which has had a history of organized leadership for decades, compared to what, a few years for the new Iraqis? Bushes statement didn't say they were ready to act on their own. As soon as you start training military from ground zero and are a recognized expert, you just let us all know.
