Nope... she's a smart little thing, who has her own mind and opinions
-- worst she gets is 3 minutes in timeout and usually that's not even
required.

Get this Scott -- a lot of times when she's misbehaving, I'll pick her
up, kiss her, and hold her until she is calm, then explain what she's
doing incorrectly (we don't even use right and wrong very often, I know
that makes you cringe). And guess what? She actually is learning
self-discipline. Amazing, eh? Makes her very charming to be around.

She's also brilliant and very very self-confident. And nowadays,
that's what little girls need -- self confidence, not some grown
man/woman beating on them.

BUT I don't expect you to accept that for one hot minute. Among other
things, I'm sure you think my opinion is clouded. After all she is my
little pride and joy.

oh man... I was paddled plenty growing up. I didn't miss out on the
corporal punishment. Poor white folk use corporal punishment very
liberally.
