The plastic ones break. The metal ones break too. The Stewart is the only
one that doesn't break, so if they don't make one, just pick whatever your
favorite shop carries. But get a spare, because it will break.
Thanks Scott. I've been told that OEM is Salieri (italian-made) and
that the plastic/composite impellers are better. Supposedly, the early
plastic was bad, but they are all out of the supply lines, now. New
ones are quieter and last longer than the seals and bearings which is
why water pumps fail. I also heard good things about Laso water pumps.
So, I'll order one of those and we shall see! Good Luck!
