i remember an old story that there was an O2 sensor put out by
another
car maker
that was the same as the BMW sensor but alot more cheaper .
Just google for BMW CO2 sensor or Lamda sensor. I'm sure you'll
find more than one supplier for pattern ones that are cheaper
than OE ones, and are a direct replacement.
