He's seeking a 520 from end 80s/early 90s.

He's found two possibilities:

1) 520 24-valve. Petrol line leaks a bit when moving (slightly rusted).
What would a line exchange (not necessarily BMW) cost.

2) Not 240-valve. Has older motor. Complies only with the older Euro 1
emissions standard -- costs more in (German) road tax.

Could be converted with some device at 99 EUR from eBay. What would it cost
to install?

What other costs could arise from the upgrade? (Paperwork?)

Folgekosten auf mich zu? Sicher muss doch da was am Brief, bzw. an
der ABE geändert werden, was sich das Finanzamt (oder der TÜV?)
sicher etwas kosten lässt.
