I just learned (yesterday) how to make an x-face. I was so proud of
myself. It took a *long* time to get the thing to work.
Pimp it out! I'm not sure how Thunderbird handles headers, and I have yet to run across any add-on to display xfaces; all be it I never looked hard. With most news readers it's a simple copy-pasta to create custom xheaders generated from here: http://www.dairiki.org/xface/
Been there ... done that. My problem was getting the code into the correct place, written properly, and getting the face to display. TBird will not display an x-face, but I can post one using it. I am able to see it using SeaMonkey. I'm getting ready to show Sycho (I hope).
