Fixed your subject line for ya...
Yes that's more like it.
I've been on a diet so drinking real hacker beer has been outside
my
grasp for awhile. I'm drinking <sigh> light beer for awhile now,
but
I'm getting used to it.
But what about the rich taste, comforting smell, and warm neck of
full
flavored beer? I figured light was nothing more then fermented tap
water.
(someone needs to fix the headers to put these in response to the
original thread)
I trust my father-in-law.
He drinks one to two Pale Ale bottles a day.
He's 75, has 15% body fat and is as healthy as can be.
Only 2? He'll I drink 3 or 4 while I'm cutting the grass. A light
beer
is refreshing out in the sun, Roberts assesmemt of fermented tap
water
is somewhat correct though. Its still refreshing and cools me off
out in
the hot sun.
Well to each his own. I prefer strong, malty and yeasty beers. Like
Fin du
monde (Quebec, 9% abv), Dragon stout (Jamaica, 7.5% abv), Holsten
Festbock
(German 7% abv), and McEwan's (Scotland, 8% abv). Yet none can compare
to
the work of Belgium brewers and their trappist monks, who make the
best brew
in the world, like Gulden Draak (10.5%), Delirium Tremens (8.5%) and
best of
all Rochefort 10 (11.3%). Rochefort is brewed by the most skilled
trappist
monastery in the world, but at almost $7 for one 330 ml bottle you
better
get your wallet out if you want to buy some!
I'll keep those in mind. It's not that I only drink light beer, it's
just that when I'm consuming large quantities I have to keep my
waistline in mind. Have a few while cutting the grass is different than
going out to the pub with friends.
