Tell me about it. Recently, I've been "playing" with some grown up
kids infesting another group :-)
Seriously though, usenet does seem to be winding down to some degree.
It definately isn't what it used to be years ago but we'll still be
around so it's still a party :P
I think the trash is discouraging everyone. I open
my news reader and it indicates 70 posts in alt.2600
and the kill file wipes them all out. When I expect
to see some intelligent conversation, all I see is
"U R gay", "No you're gay", "Yo mama sucks donkeys",
"Well your a pedo", "No U R a pedo", "You wear diapers",
"No your a ***", "Your daddy diddled you". It's
very irritating, hell, I wish the adolescents would
take it to Facebook or whatever the hell it's called.
LOL. True. They seem to gravitate toward Facebook and myspace. Also
Twitter. I think less and less are attracted to usenet (which is fine
with me of course although there are some intelligent kids out there.)
The guy I'm currently slapping around elsewhere is an "adult" who acts
like a child and has said essentially the same things as you've outlined
above (ie, "you're a homo", etc.) I know I should ignore him because
he's just seeking attention and in the process of spanking him, I'm
"feeding" him (manipulating him actually) however I guess I decided to
take a stand and explore what I can make him do. He wasn't leaving
anyway...I'm about to drop it though. He's become boring again. The "hey
***" stuff is old and predictable. He's "forging" me again as well
(his "forges" are laughable and not real forges of course but I guess
it's the best he can do with only 3 working brain cells.)
Maybe we should start posting a few on (and off) topic things when we
can and take it from there. I'm game for that, sir.
You mustn't be allowed to have all the fun, start crossposting the "war"
to alt.2600. We just have a bunch of noise in here, maybe it's time for
some fun :-)
Heh, I am tempted. "They" are really just one person who is using multiple
newsreading accounts to create different characters that high 5 themselves
when they think they've "stung" me.
It started out harmless when I warned another poster (who himself is a
prick) that he might have a worm (that acted kind of like the Virtumonde
trojan) on his machine since since my software went off when I read one of
his posts. I was then told that it was *impossible* to get a worm from
usenet...;-) Anyway, I'm using another name to post to that group and
they are "forging" that name using free newsreaders so read headers
carefully. I'm posting over there through Google groups.

Oh and another thing. They know I post as magnus here (which was my original
usenet handle) so they possibly *could* crosspost over here.
It's doubtful since they seem to have grasshopper sized balls but possible.
Over there, I post as Dan Camper (using Google groups) however they are
"forging" that name (and have been for a long time) so if they (all 1 or 2
of them...snicker) do x post, make sure you're replying to "me" and not
their "forges". Unless you just want to play with them as I have ;-)
For now, I've stopped replying to them and they're "starving"...LOL.


LOL. OK well if they want to engage :-) It's just getting tiresome
around here with that bob larter guy and snuhwolf sucking each others
dicks and constantly saying diaper this and diaper that. I had them
killfiled because they were posting at spam type levels for awhile, but
I unkilled them when they started to slow down a bit in hopes they might
say something interesting.

Highly unlikely, neither of them has any expertise nor background in
any IT or related field. Maybe they could post something interesting
that's off topic...but I doubt it, at least with Lionel. Snuhwolf was
posting some interesting stuff on occasion a few months back...but
that was before he started sucking Lionels *** on a daily basis...I'm
not sure what the infatuation there is. I've never seen anyone so
devoted to another poster before, it's actually kind of frightening,
especially if you start looking at the raw posting stats. I've never
even had a Hatter Addict that devoted to *ME* before...let alone
someone else. The only explanation I can come up with is that maybe
he's got some kind of a school boy type crush on the guy after he saw
his picture. *shrugs*
