Re: Google Are Idiots

On 15 Dec 2008 I stormed the castle called alt.2600 and heard The Daring

They automatically updated the Google toolbar on my machine,
without my asking, and overrode the Ctrl-F command, so I can't

Google toolbar because of this, and then it reverted to some
system files that aren't in the right order. Google are idiots.
?:(~
I use the googlebar plugin.

No issues so far on any OS.
Are they sure about Internet Explorer? That's a Firefow site, and
they probably don't get many Explorer users.
People still use IE??

I thought that POS was dumped a few years ago.

I hate to say it about my beloved browser, but I've noticed lately
that Firefox isn't fairing so well. Myself and at least 6 other
people who use it complain of lockups, I myself have noticed bloating
and connection issues.

Because I'm on Linux, IE is not an option (and if it is, I STILL say
it's NOT an option) so I have started trying out Safari, Opera, and
Chrome. Not really feeling Chrome too much, Safar's alright, might
go with Opera

The only real problem I've noticed with Firefox is the
bookmark function has become a bit squirrelly.

Squirrel haxxx!

no pun
Every now and then when I close it, there is an error
window but the browser opens right back up without a
problem. I'm running a P4 3ghz with 1gb memory and it
runs quite fast with Win XP SP3. I haven't tried any
of the 'nix's on this system yet. I'm thinking of trying
PC-BSD again since I heard there may be a way to run
Flash with it now.
