So like an idiot I allowed Winamp to be my default search engine in
Firefox. Of course this utilizes Google engine to fetch results, but I
feel so dirty having the Winamp logo all over my screen when I type a
general topic of interest into my URL bar. I've edited my config under
the following parameters:
browser.search.defaulturl
browser.search.defaultenginename
It still forces the winamp/aol page. What am I overlooking? There's
nothing winamp related in my add ons. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Keyword.URL is the parameter you are looking for
.
