I was just doing a take off on Uncle Fester, but .....

/me tired, 80 sq ft of pine beadboard, plus the 1/4 round to trim it
out, note all the pieces of beadboard were 30" or less tall, lot of
cutting and
nailing. It looks fabulous, my wife even said so, and I didn't have to
pay her.

This post is worthless without pics!

Guess it is, just found where my wife had hid the digital camera, figures,
batteries are shot, have to recharge them....charging now.

Actually, it's more the vinyl floor. I think every house built in Canada before 1980 had that stuff somewhere in the house. My Toronto house had it practically throughout. And it was covering nice, but well worn (and easily restorable) oak floors.
