I've got a question: Who determines your credit score in the USA?

Whatever gets reported to three credit reporting companies. Equifax,
TransUnion and Experian. It's their score that determines whether or not
you get that spiffy new truck or not. Late payments, loan defaults, and
the like all get reported to them. The more hits you take for bigger
amounts, the lower your score drops. Good credit's between 600 and 700.
Great credit's like 700. But they also look at history, if you don't
have a credit score at all, you may still not get the spiffy new truck.
The longer you can keep on-time payments in everything, the higher your
score goes. You can rehab your credit but it's not easy. Bankruptcy
won't help you since the republican congress and the Bush administration
gutted all the bankruptcy protection because they're friends with the
Credit Card companies. Your one out every 7 years is gone.

Thanks for the info. :)
