And then I have to find out what data the blackbox is actually logging.
Is it connected to the car's on board computer or not ?
What data is handed over to my employer and does my employer give us the
same data ?
Are they "scanning" us in real time or not ?

You didn't mention if it was the standard box installed
by the automobile manufacturer or a surveillance box
installed by a second party. Such as:

I'll get back to you on that one.
As far as I know it's a specialized business that installs the boxes since
we drive at least 10 different makes.
In many of these cars the boxes have been installed afterwards.
I'll try to find out what type and make.
