I just finished downloading Kubuntu. Will it be better than Debian
4.0, ya think? More modern, they say. We'll see.

Kubuntu is Ubuntu with the KDE wm. Ubuntu is based off Debian so you
shouldn't notice much of a change (except that KDE sucks balls just as
much as GNOME :)

Doc - who is using plain Ubuntu with fluxbox, wine & xnews :)

This Kubuntu *IS* Debian, dammit!!

What a waste of my time. Looks and feel exactly the same. chit.. I am
reformatting and going back to Debian. Also, I didn't like the fact
that it never asked me where to put Grub. I am very angry now,
especially since I allowed Partition Magic to screw up my XP partition.
CHIT CHIT CHIT!!! Talking about Kubuntu\Ubuntu is updated quicker than
Debian... BULL TURDS! All I have to do is put "testing" in my apt
sources. I should have known. Blah~~

ROTFL!!

I'm surprised you didn't know that. AFAIK, Ubuntu is "debian" (or at
least Ian these days) with a few extra graphics.
