Here is an iTunes question. I am not sure if it is possible but maybe it is some easy thing that I just missed somehow. Why not just make a playlist? I've never done this, but you can have it make a folder so I imagine you can put multiple playlists in the folder and have it play them in succession, but shuffle the tunes within the playlist.
What I want to do is play the songs randomly except for some songs which I would like to play in succession. For example, on many CDs, what is essentially the intro to a song is actually a seperate track of instrumental music. What I want to do is if the intro track is hit to then simply play the next successive track rather than some random one. Once the last successive track is played then continue random play.
This would be nice not just for intro tracks but for whole sets of songs that perhaps share a common theme or even a whole album.
Anyway to do this in iTunes?
The only way I can think of would be to `cat` all the files together on the command line for one large mutitrack mp3 but that seems just so damn inelegant...
I got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!
