with a few exceptions; they included a new car cover and it's even nicer
than expected! I guess being from Canada, I don't expect a car
(especially not a 35 year old car) to be completely free of rust. I will
probably replace the interior at some point, but other than that it's
pretty awesome and with the exception of the radio, it's completely
stock, as if it just came off the showroom floor.
Check out http://www.antiqueautomobileradio.com/ for a vintage car radio !
Rust free vintage cars do NOT exsist ! Simple as that.
Obviously a d00tchie response. :)
We get rain here maybe fifteen days a year. There are many classic cars
with no rust on them. In fact, if you can get a California car, you're
very lucky, because chances are it will have no rust whatsoever.
Every car like that has a little something, unless it's completely
restored.
But it's REALLY great to find such a beautiful car that is completely
stock.
You can't have better !

Heh.
I think the Rev should paint it white, put some stripes across the hood
and then paint a large number 53 on the doors.
I could have bought one like that, suped up too, but they wanted $13K
for it, and it's not something for a grown man to drive, but if have kids...
I think the above car probably has an engine just as powerful
I was also thinking it would be cool if he dropped a 1.9 TDI from a
Golf/Rabbit in there. Vroom Vroom!

Heh - a NASCAR herbie! I like the ragtop. I wonder if Lindsey Lohen comes
with it?
Anytime you want. You won't have any problems finding the place :-)
So, Rev - when are we invited over to see your new ride?
Lemme guess - you're the one with the blue bug out front?
