Somebody talk some sense into me, I'm poised to buy this:

I have to say, it's the ultimate hacker car. I have owned 3 of
them and my wife has owned 1. I just want to use it as an
"auxiliary" car but I love them so much. I don't know if I even
need it, but man I love those cars and this is a pretty nice
specimen for the price. Also, despite the fact that she is 35
years older now, the Chix0r in the photo is pretty hot, she
could have advertised VW back in the day :-)

Awwwwwwwwwww, cute story/site!

I was never a VW person, but I'd *almost* buy it just because it has a story with it :)

The story does make it attractive, but for the simple reason that it provides a history to the vehicle re the mechanicals, and being a single owner car it is more likely to be kept up.
