You're down in the area.. know anybody with "heavy unix
experience" that's looking for a network admin type job? Big
company, probably great bennies...
Hmm.. Possibly. Depending on the 'area'. Lives in Los Gatos, but
commutes to Pleasasnton.

Shoot me an e-mail offline. Remove 'theobvious.' :-D

Evan

It's a sunnyvale job.. save you some commute time :)
I used to commute to sunnyvale on occasion.

That was a bitch of a commute. Up at 4:30 to get to the airport,
leave by 5:30, in SJC by 7:00, breakfast, at my destination by 9:00,
back at home by 6:00.

Never again!

I did a commute from SF to Santa Clara University and had to drive through Sunnyvale on my way there.. interesting that my drive time
was almost as long as your flying time...
LOL!! I know, sux, eh? It actually used to take me more time to drive
to either CSU Northridge or Fox Studios, than to fly up to San Jose or
Sunnyvale.

By the way, my dad grew up across the street from Santa Clara
University. I know that area well. (One benefit of flying up all the
time was I got to visit my grandfather on occasion.)

I got to work at their law school for several months.. several SUNNY months.. several sunny months with SCANTLY CLAD COEDS... :)

Yeah, that was the best thing about working at one job I had. Though I was
in charge of the installation at boring sites like Edwards AFB and Fox/CBS
Studios, my cool account was the CSU system - SDSU, SFSU, Northridge, Long
Beach, Fresno, Los Angeles and Chico - and the UC System - Santa Cruz and
LA. It was ALWAYS a pleasure to visit those clients. ;P

Now, I'm just a county worker. Though I don't have the cool - ahem -
visuals, I at least don't have to fly all over the state on a weekly basis.

Heh Heh. I am so lucky to work where I do, and live where I do, I never have to leave the campus, and every year the supply of ah, visuals, is replenished :-)
