Thanks for the comments, we appreciate it. In respect to your initial post, the
article was actually available on all of our NewsGuy servers in a little over a
minute (21:17:42 to 21:18:50) based on our server time stamps.

Within five minutes the post was then distributed to other Usenet news servers
through our network of feeds, which includes direct exchanges with Giganews,
Supernews, etc. Generally speaking, any delays at that point would be the result
of the receiving server's network (backbone, server queues, frontend filtering,
etc.)

As an example, a few commercial services have experienced some issues with their
inbound/outbound feeds that has caused some general hiccups within Usenet the
past week or so. Some of those disruptions have contributed to incomplete posts,
propagation delays, etc.

Not sure if you're aware of it, but we also have an annual Basic option that
brings the monthly cost down to $3.33/month :) Thanks again for the
