Bob <bob@xxxxxxxxxxx> delighted us to no end by taking a lime
green crayon and scribbling in news:dqm4qh01up6@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,

I think I've talked to you, through email, though it was a
loooooong time ago (when I was still enough of a n00b to submit
abuse reports). You were nice to deal with and gave me an immediate
response, which is why I went to Newsguy *first* this time around.
See? People remember when someone's nice :)

That's 6 minutes to the NEWSGUY servers. It took longer than that
to hit Supernews, Giganews, etc. As I write this out, it does sound
silly making a big deal about 5-10 minutes. I'm just used to 1-2
minute propegation time.

I've used Giganews and Supernews services, and never more than 2
minutes on either. Problem with Giganews is it's too expensive/more
service than I need. and Supernews censors/filters posts that
should not be filtered.
I've only seen latency happen with your service. I'll try it a few
more times today and see. I *do* appreciate you taking the time to
respond, and I'm not trying to knock your service in any way. I'm
just telling you what I see, and comparing it to what I'm used to.

It has, and I appreciate you taking the time. Now I just need to
figure what's more important for 5.95/month...dealing with
censoring or a few extra minutes for posts to show up.
