I've downloaded the latest version of Firefox (saved to my to my desktop) and want to go ahead and execute the install file and play around with it and install the plugins, etc but can I also keep IE 6 as a backup browser without suffering any conflicts? Can I just choose which browser I want to use at the time and go with it? Knowing Microsoft, it'll detect I'm using something other than it as a browser and output error and compatability messages :/ I have no expendable experimental pig box to play with anymore thanks to a lightning strike in the backyard so I do NOT want to screw this one up and have to uninstall and reinstall or reformat.
Thanks for your advice/input

when you install ffox it will import all your IE settings and ask if you want it to be your default browser. Click yes. Next time you launch IE itll notice its not the default and ask as well, say no and dont ask again. Thats it, launch which ever whenever.

First day it opened I went down there, was doing a few laps and pulled over and the manager comes over to me and says "Oi, mate! No professionals." I said I'm not a professional. He said "Well, you should be with moves like that you could be the best in Britain". I said, "No thanks I'm making *** loads from computers".
