Mine has been under DoS for over a month. I get about 1,000 accesses per day
from Windows zombies. It was around 5,000 a day at worst, so I now filter
using some re-directions.

True. People are talking about it a lot these days. Certain CMS packages are
quite badly affected, as well as AWStats and the like (out-of-date
installations). My host was forced to go down 4 months ago due to DoS
attacks. Someone did not patch up a phpBB installation properly.

What you need to do is wait until more countries take an example from
Australia.
