There's really no good reason to install server on a laptop. There's
nothing 2k or XP can't do for a laptop that 2k3 can. It's basically just
wasting resources and installing crap that she's never going to need.

That said, there's really no reason NOT to install server on a laptop if
the situation warrants it. It should work just fine.
